Mental and Spiritual Wellness – C.O.R.E. Methodology
People come to me with all kinds of situations, ranging from cancer, digestive and muscular complaints to unsuccessful marriages and anxiety and career issues. They all want to know, how can I feel better?
C.O.R.E. methodology is a healing modality developed by the American Society of Alternative Therapists. C.O.R.E. stands for Conscious, Ownership, Release, and Engage – the methodology is built on the idea that illness, unhappiness and ailments come from lifestyle decisions we make based on stories we tell ourselves, stories that form around illness or injury, trauma, fear or hard childhood experiences.
Whatever the underlying issues, the C.O.R.E. methodology uses a set of tools and techniques for reaching down to the bottom of the hidden experiences, bringing light to them, and giving you a set of guided meditation tools to help you make a new foundation for your beliefs, and put your health, relationships, or confidence, whatever it is, on footing that suits you better.
Time and time again, I have watched this new insight act of understanding elemental experiences lead to profound acts of healing, regeneration, and new purpose in life.
Body/Mind Wellness – Teaching Massage
“If you can think yourself sick you can think yourself better” — Louise Hay, You Can Heal Your Life
In addition to fostering spiritual well-being in individual clients, I also work closely with massage and other body work practitioners, to help them integrate spiritual wellness and C.O.R.E. methodology techniques into their body work. This teaching comes from a expertise in a range of body work approaches. I have taught thousands of practitioners treatment methods that range from neuromuscular facilitation and sports massage to craniosacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage to hot stone massage, cupping and chakra balancing.
I have helped therapists see the role their own stories and experiences influence their care, and I have also taught classes designed to help therapists expand and sustain their practices, delivering training and guidance on everything from finances, pricing and branding to legal and ethical guidelines to practical strategies for supporting the therapists’ belief systems in their work.
